With over 25 years of experience in environmental consulting, Irem Silajdžić is a leading expert in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and strategic environmental planning.
Specializing in sustainability and regulatory compliance, she has led the preparation of more than 150 environmental studies for international financial institutions and private investors, ensuring adherence to EBRD, World Bank, EIB, and IFC standards.
She has played a key role in major infrastructure projects across the Western Balkans and EU, covering renewable energy facilities, transportation networks, industrial developments, and eco-tourism infrastructure.
Beyond project assessments, she has advised on environmental policy and legislation, contributed to solid waste management strategies, and developed investment plans for cities like Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Zenica.
With a Ph.D. in Environmental Sciences and specialized training in EIA, SEA, and environmental governance, she is committed to capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and driving sustainable development. Her extensive experience and strategic insights make her a key asset in shaping environmentally responsible infrastructure and policy initiatives.
