Central Supervision over Works of the Project Water and Sanitation in the Federation B&H
Project description
The overall objective of the “Water and Sanitation FBiH Project” is to develop an EU-standard Integrated Sustainable Water and Wastewater Management scheme in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH).
The project involves the implementation of central supervision (FIDIC engineers) of the reconstruction works, new construction works of water supply and sewerage systems in the following municipalities of FB&H:
1. Bosanski Petrovac (construction of wastewater treatment plant)
2. Bosanska Krupa (construction of sewerage network)
3. Bosansko Grahovo (reconstruction of the sewerage network)
4. Čitluk (construction of secondary sewerage network)
5. Doboj South (expansion of the sewerage network)
6. Glamoč (construction of water supply system for the settlements of Rore, Novo naselje and Ćoslije)
7. Gračanica (reconstruction and construction of floor sewage collectors)
8. Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje (reconstruction of the city water supply system – network)
9. Jajce (reconstruction of the water supply network, construction of a sewage network on the right side of the Vrbas River and construction of a drinking water supply system for settlements on the right bank of the Vrbas River)
10. Konjic (construction of sewage collectors and network)
11. Lukavac (construction of sewerage network in the outskirts of the city)
12. Mostar (construction of main sewage and secondary collector – T0b, T1b, T4b, T2a, T6, T2B)
13. Orašje (construction of drinking water plant)
14. Prozor Rama (modernization of chlorine station, rehabilitation of drinking water transport pipeline and construction of wastewater treatment plant)
15. Široki Brijeg (Construction of wastewater treatment plants)
16. Tešanj (construction of sewage collectors Lot 1, Lot 2, Lot 3 and Lot 4)
17. Tomislavgrad (Construction of wastewater treatment plant)
18. Usora (Construction of sewerage network and wastewater treatment plants)
19. Velika Kladuša (regulation of the river Kladušnica and construction of collectors A and B)
The Consultant comprising a joint venture between Eptisa, Integra and Enova has been engaged to carry out Central Supervision of works, to provide full supervisory services during construction and Defect Notification Period and shall act, for each respective Municipality, as the Engineer to each contract carried out under FIDIC contract conditions, and as the Supervisor for each contract carried out under Local Contract Conditions (FBiH CCC), as specified in or necessarily implied from the Contract as well as administer the Contract, dealing with situations in accordance with the Contract and taking due regard of all relevant circumstances. The services will also include an approval of the Contractor’s design for the design and build contracts (in particular for the treatment works), issuing variations and reporting and assessing the claims from the Contractor.
Type of services provided
The activities of the project include:
- constant supervision during the execution of works by selected FIDIC engineers
- preparation of monthly reports and timesheets
- holding weekly and monthly coordination meetings
- writing minutes of meetings
- fulfilling the requirements for approval of materials, as well as issuing approvals
- writing a final report on the work performed
